There are
two types of judgment know as mortal an immortal judgment. The key actors of the judgment day are the
end-time John the Baptist and Jesus Christ. The day of judgment also known as
the great and dreadful day of the Lord is not just one day but a continuous day
of judgment. The two key actors were all born in Israel in two separate forms
which signify their individual assignment and functions. Evidently, John was
given a mortal birth through Priest Zachariah and Elizabeth and Jesus was given
a spiritual birth through conception of the Holy Spirit whose mother was the
Virgin Mary.
John
performed water baptism in order to cleanse the mortal body from sin while
Jesus performed the baptism of the Holy Spirit to enable the mortal body
performs miracles, signs and wonders as sons of God which was manifested
beginning from the day of Pentecost through his Apostles immediately after his
ascension into heaven.
During John
the Baptist teachings by the River Jordan, he distinguished between the two
types of judgment. Now let us go into
John’s teachings: “He said, I did Baptist you with water unto repentance but he
that is coming after me is mightier than I whose shoe I am not worthy to untie,
he shall Baptize you with Holy Ghost and with fire” Here Holy Ghost baptism
began right from the day of Pentecost while the baptism of fire refer to the
day of judgment on their second coming. John continue to explain about the
baptism of fire. He said “ whose fan is in his hand (Jesus Christ). He will
thoroughly purge his floor and gather
his wheat into the garner but will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire
(Mat. 3:1-12).
The prophecy
of John did not all fulfill during the first coming of Jesus Christ but to be fulfilled during the time of judgment when God’s kingdom begin to rule
on earth during their second coming in
the end-times.
THE MORTAL JUDGMENT
The moral
judgment will begin through the second John the Baptist. Therefore Jesus said,
“…..from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of God suffers
violence and the men of violence will take it by force” in Matthew chapter 11:
12).
Mortal judgment
refers to the physical body to face physical torture and pain even unto dead
known as violence or during war time. The second John the Baptist will be
associated with this period of judgment known as the period of tribulation
during his reigning with the saints on earth long before Jesus come to execute
the immortal judgment known as the lake of fire as the immoral body cannot die
in hell unlike the mortal body.
Therefore John said, “..the axe is laid under the root
of the tree and every tree that does not bear fruit shall be cut down and be
cast into the lake of fire. (Mat. 3:10).
Here his
duty is to cut down every tree from the root that does not bear fruit which
will result in physical dead and the tree that does not bear fruit represents
the human being that had not repented from sin prior to the second coming of
Jesus Christ.
Based on
this development, John’s duty is to deal with the mortal body which assignment
he first fulfilled at the River Jordan based on repentance from sin but now his
assignment is to cut down any person who had not repented when God’s kingdom
takes over the whole world by iron hand with the saints since his assignment is
to come first to restore all things as Prophet Elijah the Third (Mat.
17:10-11). The first John did not fulfill all the assignment he taught at the
River Jordan specially in the areas of restoration of all things including the
establishment of God’s kingdom on earth prior to the second coming of Jesus
Christ and was beheaded after all just as Jesus was also crucified and died on
the cross at Mount Cavalry. Both of the did not fulfill that assignment.
Therefore
the whole work load is placed on the head of the second John the Baptist who is
also the Prophet Elijah the third equipped with heavenly military prophetic powers as a
bulldozer of the end-time unlike the first John the Baptist who must come first
to restore God’s kingdom on earth with the saints and who is to give a very
clear picture on how God’s kingdom on earth will look like which the first John
never did but only preached about the kingdom of God to come to rule the whole
world including the Apostles.
Jesus gave
some clue on how God’s kingdom on earth will look like but not in an elaborate
manner and in most cases gave only
proverbs and explained to some extend but mentioned that the Comforter
will come to explain all things signifying the end-time John the Baptist who
must appear to teach all things both of
good and evil from the scripture without compromise and added that the
Comforter will not only teach but show the world things to come relating to
God’s kingdom.
However, the
promise of the Comforter initially fulfilled through the Apostles on the day of
Pentecost like the initial coming of Prophet Elijah as John the Baptist.
However, the second Comforter will be in person of the second John the Baptist
as the third Prophet Elijah to comfort the saints during the tribulation period
like Samson who defended the Israelites in the land of Median. At this point
Prophet Isaiah said that the Comforter who shall be the end-time teacher will
no longer hide himself and will appear in person to show the saint the right
part to follow (Isa. 30:20-21 RSV).
Again Isaiah said, that he will startle
many nations; kings will shot their moths because of him and those thing
that they have not heard before they shall understand (Isa.52:13 -15 and John 16:1-end).
