Prophet Daniel was subjected to the Babylonian systems in terms of religion and politics but never compromise his faith in the God of Israel; but however found himself worshiping the Babylonian gods and was called by the name of the Babylonian god instead of Daniel because of his excellent wisdom.
Evidently, while the king of Babylon and his high ranking officials bow to worship his, gods, Daniel was not exempted. He was accused of worshiping another God and not that he also refused to worship the Babylonian gods whose name he bore. However prayed three times daily for forgiveness of his sins for involving in idolatry in the land of captivity in Babylon.
A day was scheduled for everybody in Babylon to worship the golden image made by the king of Babylon. All the Jews in Babylon did bow to the golden image including the king and all his high rank officials and including Prophet Daniel’ but in his heart replaced the image of god with the God of Israel like Naman the Captain of the Syrian Army who took the sand from Israel to replace the land of Syria with the land of Israel whenever the King enters into the temple of his gods for worship while Daniel would return to his house and prayed for forgiveness of sin. (2nd Chronicles chapter 5).
Daniel being one of the high ranking official being the representative of the Jews in Babylon would have advised them to obey the king’s order else they will all be killed and quoting from the prophecy of Moses that they will worship foreign gods in the land of captivity but Shadrac Mesack and Abednego refused to bow and was cast into the furnace of fire but God delivered them. (Dan chapter 3 and 2nd Kings chapter 5) Therefore, Some of the Western preachers (those in Europe, Australia and America) are now in the same shoe with Prophet Daniel. They were the first to spread the gospel to the rest of the world through preaching the sound gospel of salvation which include the repentance from sin which is the major aspect of the gospel as Jesus commanded. ( Mat. 28:19-20 and IK 24:47 ).
But today, the tide of the waters of Babylon has turned up against them and could no longer sing the Lord’ s song as they become strangers in their own land and have no choice than to obey the Babylonian government else they will close all churches and persecute the Christians in the Western world. Consequently, they could no longer preach about sin because sin had been legalized by the government of Babylon. They could no longer preach against prostitution, abortion, homosexuality and other social vices. Therefore, they have to produce another new but old gospel from the passages of the bible to blend with the Babylonian system in order to keep the church of Christ alive.
Therefore, they have now introduced what is now known to be a Babylonian Gospel which is centered on “Grace Advocacy” devoid of holiness and righteousness because they would say “ We are living now by the Grace of God in our own country” with the kind of government that rules over them since preaching against sin is forbidden by the Babylonian government even though it is against their own will but have no choice. Therefore preachers in other countries outside the Western countries should understand what they are passing through as they are being subjected to the Babylonian system where the preaching against sin if highly restricted but rather centered on “Grace” which is seen as a NEW trend of gospel introduced in Babylon for a blend coupled with praise and worship songs and no longer songs for evangelism else they get arrested by the government official quite unlike other parts of the world where the gospel is freely preached without restrictions.
To their own advantage, the western nations have advanced security network to arrest criminals in order to scrub crimes quite unlike other nations that have serious security challenges. So preaching the same gospel with the Babylonian preachers of the west will fuel up crimes instead to assist the government to scrub crimes through preaching against sins. The “GRACE” factor is based on the fact that Jesus had died on the cross and had paid all the price of sin. So you are automatically counted as a righteous person in Christ which is seen as the righteousness of God by Grace and not by works using several passages of the bible to back up this “GRACE” advocacy that will lead very many people to hell because of feeling self-righteous . Therefore “Sin Gospel” had been abolished but “Grace Gospel” now takes a center stage in compliance with the Babylonian government terms and conditions that rule over those western preachers just to sustain the churches in their own countries.
Based on this development, God could pardon them for the kind of gospel they preach from the very passages of the bible considering the situation they found themselves in their individual countries where the preaching against sin is restricted just as God pardon Prophet Daniel and the rest of the Jews worshiping the gods of Babylon. While preachers in other nations are being given the freedom to preach against sins which include all forms of social vices complementing government effort to combat crimes but with very poor security network quite unlike in the advanced western countries.
Consequently, Christians in the Asian and Islamic countries would suffer persecution by introducing Babylonian kind of gospel that encourage sin and you will be judged on the day of judgment quite unlike the Babylonian preachers just as Priest Aaron was forgiven by God who created the golden calf worshiped by the people of Israel in the wilderness due to the pressure on him and in order to save his life. So you must not preach like them in your own country if you are not living in Babylon. To obey is better than sacrifice.
